Our Graduate Programs
We offer the following four graduate programs:

- Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

Time to Degree
- PhD program: The average time to degree for our 2022-23 PhD graduates is 5.15 years. This is more than a year shorter than the 2022 national median of 6.4 years for biological and biomedical sciences.
- MS programs: Our MS programs are designed for completion in two years by a full-time student.
Placement of Our Graduates
- PhD programs: Our PhD graduates successfully pursue careers in biomedical research as scientists in academia, government, or industry, as well as in fields such as consulting, finance, patent law, scientific communication and policy, clinical regulatory affairs, or as entrepreneurs.
- MS programs: At least 20 of our MS graduates since Fall 2021, both domestic and international, secured employment with various companies and research institutions. These include the following:
- Genentech, Conagra Brands, Xylem, Outlier, Baylor Scott and White Health, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and UT Southwestern Medical Center
